I waited a couple of months post purchase to review this item to see how well it did. I live in sunny southwestern Florida. This cover is used out on our dock, under our tiki but, no question, open to wind, rain, sun. It has weathered beautifully - no fading, no rips, no shredding. We've recently had some winds approaching 70mph with a few storms and this cover hung tough and didn't even blink. It fits well enough that it doesn't billow in the wind. The cover secures to each leg of the couch with a strong strap and clip closure that I feel very confident that it will hold fast and there's a lighter elastic, with a toggle lock, to pull it together a little more snugly on both ends.I was concerned, being over water on the dock and with the humidity here, that the cover might encourage mildew to grow under the cover. That has not been the case. So while it keeps out the rain and sun, it hasn't turned into moldy mess either. Highly recommend.
