I will break this into two parts since:Part 1, The Customer ServiceI got the shed dropped shipped to my house and the box had some damage and contents were a little banged up. I got an email from Amazon that asked how of the contents of the packaged were and I sent back pictures and description and didn’t hear anything. So I unpacked everything and I was willing to live with the small dings* since it is going to be an outdoor shed holding a lawn mower and tools. BUT as I was unpacking one of the door jams was broken to the point where I couldn’t use it and the manual said not to contact the retailer but to call a number for replacement parts. So I called the number then waited for an hour or so and got the web address from the recording and ordered what I thought was the part and waited. Seemed like an open and closed case. Two weeks later…..I had not heard anything from the uslparts** place where I ordered the replacement through and I was getting frustrated. So I contacted Keter via email which I figured was a black hole of no response. I was also trying to post a one star review because I felt like I was stuck with a $500+ shed and no door. Well when Amazon blocked my review I went through the roof, which is not an easy task from my basement room I must say. I emailed the customer service for Amazon and explained why my review was negative. Well I was shocked with the email I got back….they offered to refund my money and take back the shed and send out a new one*** OR refund a percentage of my money for the damage. This was something Amazon didn’t have to do and they went out of their way to help me out which is freaking awesome in my book. So I opted to deal with the shed and try to get some action out of Keter for my broken part. While I was still writing my response email to Amazon I got an email back from Keter support and we resolved the missing part and they sent me the correct one. Amazon and Keter in the end both came through for me and resolved my problem and so the shed has been a great addition to my backyard.Part 2, The ProductAs to the shed itself. It is very sturdy once assembled not sure I would put it through a hurricane without a cement base but holds up to Iowa winds pretty good. I would suggest putting in plywood floor or I even saw in the manual to pour cement in the base floor pan, floor with just the plastic base feels a little soft when you are walking on but holds up fine. Instructions were easy to follow and overall it’s a nice little building. It does have a little sun roof on the top down the middle roof which is nice for light and the little window is helpful on the side and has kind of a privacy film to it so you can’t see in, just lets the light in. Walls are not solid but more of a hollow panel which is surprising for how sturdy it feels. With all that I went through I do plan to buy another one at some point in the future. I took off a star for the shipping, whoever does the dropping shipping needs to be a little more careful.* Floor pan took a good dent broke one of the support “squares”, Side wall took a good scrape and has a mark down the side. Also note I sent in my pictures of the damage before I even opened the box.** Keter uses a few web sites I found out to ship out parts from. This was the one for my product.*** By this time the Shed was almost together and was just missing the door.I'd give this a 3.5 if there was such a rating. The positives are its a shed and relatively easy to put together. instructions are visual, but with some common sense it goes together quickly and easily. The whole package is big and heavy as delivered. Individually, pieces are big, but light enough to move easily. there were extra screws, at least one, in each package. You can assemble it on a flat surface, like a deck, and empty it can be moved around without too much trouble. OR, you can attach it to your base. Here, I need a permit for that, so kept it as a "temporary" unit. Painted mine as the light color was intrusive where we located it.On the other hand, it is flimsy. Even fully assembled it shifts and bends. In the heat of the truck, and the sun, the pieces warped which made assembly a little more difficult than it needed to be. We had to do the roof off the shed and move it as a piece because of the warping. In a do over, I'd do the entire top part of the shed separately and move it in place as a unit! Have a similar shed from Costco, 1/3 larger and 1/3 more expensive, but light years better in quality and was expecting something akin to that, so immediately, was disappointed. Roof panels are flat black, so direct sun is going to really make the shed super hot and also helps with the warping! Painted them too. The floor feels weak, so not sure how it will hold up if there is any weight in the shed, but we'll find out. they suggest using wood boards for shelving, I've got metal racks that I was planning to use. Hoping they won't end up poking through the plastic flooring. Can't figure out the door latch. Obviously have to poke a hole in the wall of the auxiliary door to accommodate the latch mechanism; but its placement makes getting to the screw to attach the plate to the door pretty much impossible. The latches that hold the aux door shut don't work if the door warps in the heat and without the latch in place, the main door is already warping. There are small roof vents, but are not big enough to serve much purpose - of course we are in record heat most places. Replaced the window pane with a screen to keep interior temps down. Am hoping it will last at least 10 years.am planning on going over all joints and seals with some good exterior caulk to buff it up a bit as I can see through gaps already, so that shouldhelp. Will let you all know if there are big problems down the line.Solid shed. The box showed up looking like it had been in a streetlight but everything was included and pieces were in brand new condition. Delivery was scheduled as delivery and was on time. They dropped it on my backyard for me till.A few pointers:- This can easily be assembled by one person. I did it alone it about 2.5 - 3 hours. I’m not exactly a handy person so if you can follow directions, you’re golden.- the directions aren’t nearly as confusing as some people have said they are. It’s not the most informative set of instructions but it’s easy enough to follow and is filled with diagrams.- if it’s not going on a slab, do yourself a favor and build a frame out of 2x4’s and plywood. I initially planned to assemble it on top of gravel (which I was using to level out an uneven area) and the floor is just too mailable and thin to handle that. That’s not to say the floor is thin, but a platform is the way to go.- When screwing down the roof (from inside and outside), make sure it’s snapped in place properly and even. Use a drill bit to puncture the ceiling tiles. It’s very difficult to drive the screws if you don’t.I’ve only had this assembled and on place for one day but it’s solid as heck and it looks great. Also a great price for its size!
